Clint and Carole HayesCarole - In Her Own Words

So many things I could say, but how many should I say? I'm not very good talking about myself, but let's try it out here!

I've often felt that I'm on the outside, looking in. As a child, I was painfully shy and, as a result, I've spent a good portion of my life just quietly observing and taking things in. Ah ha...being a photographer is a perfect career!

Carole HayesI find something to like about everything. Seriously, I challenge you to find something that i can't like in one way or another. Pretty sure it can't be done! I take this quality and use it when shooting photography! Yes, in just about every view, there is something that can be focused on for an amazing, unique shot. If the background isn't the best, I'll focus on the foreground. If there is a lot of clutter, I'll focus on one beautiful object, or person. Trust me, there are a lot of beautiful photographs out there just waiting to happen!

I see things differently than most people...always have. As a kid, that sort of thing gets you picked on. As a photographer, it helps me find the shots that others might miss. Often, I see a shot in my head before I see it through the camera. When this happens, you'll see me start moving around, sometimes frantically and frustratedly - climbing on things, lying on the ground, moving way back and then up in your face - trying to find where the camera was in my head. (I've been told I look pretty comical when I do this!)
